Saved Cards

Saving a card
There are two ways to save a card, and they end up in the same place:
Tick Save this card while you are making a deposit.
Save one without paying for anything. Open Payment Methods from your balance page and choose Add a card.
Saving a card without paying is useful when you are setting up auto reload before you need to top up.
Paying with a saved card
Your saved cards appear at the top of the Add Funds page. Choose one, enter an amount, and pay. You do not need to enter the card details again.
Your default card
One of your saved cards is the default, and it is the card auto reload charges. The first card you save becomes your default automatically. To change it, use Make Default on the Payment Methods page.
Removing a card
Use Remove on the Payment Methods page. We delete the card at PayPal first and only then remove it here, so a card can never be left behind on PayPal's side after you have removed it from Whispertrades.
If you remove the last card you have saved while auto reload is switched on, auto reload turns off and we email you to say so. Your threshold and reload amount are kept, so once you have saved another card, switching it back on is a single change.
Where your card details are held
PayPal stores the card. Whispertrades keeps only the brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, which is enough to tell your cards apart on the page. We never see or store your full card number.
